Data Ingestion

Introduction

The data ingestion function in Datafridge performs the following actions:

• Creating a transparent data model

• Loading the object list

• Loading data from CSV files

• Tagging data (authorization group, legal entity, attributes)

To access the data ingestion function in Datafridge, you must first create an ingestion run ID.

Proceed as follows to create an ingestion run ID:

1. Start transaction /DVD/RMX.

2. In the tree, execute the step Execute data ingestion.

3. You have the following options for the run ID:

   1. Choose an existing run ID and click Edit to modify this previously created run ID.

   2. Enter a new run ID and click Create to start a new data ingestion run.

You have created an ingestion run ID.
